I'm not the pants type anymore, you see me more in skirts and dresses. But a pair of nice wide linen pants are definitely great for the transitional period when it is still a bit chilly in the morning but is already getting warm during the day.
The pattern is from the pants kit. The zipper is in the back, I've never seen it in retail clothing, but it works great. You have a nice long relatively straight edge where you can insert the zipper. You can also set the zipper in the side seam or in the front, if you prefer that.
Spring is coming and that means it's time for transitional clothes that can be layer well. This blouse is made of a wonderful red wool fabric and I once again filmed how I sewed the whole thing.
This is a sewing pattern I've wanted to tackle for a long time. I've already sewn a few jackets and dresses with continuous dividing seams, but I still had to code this into my program.
I love the so-called Princessline patterns. Instead of sometimes hard darts, soft transitions are sewn and everything is somehow flowing and harmonious.
